Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Manchester United’s striker, has finally returned from seven months long injury to play with Manchester United against Newcastle United where he was subbed in the 76th minute in the 4-1 win.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come back to the pitch one month ahead of his expected return time, which was due to his consistency and hard work, according to Zlatan.
Zlatan said when he was asked if he was worried from the return:” Not at all, lions don’t heal like humans. it’s a special day for me and I am not worried at all. I know what to do and I trained well and sacrificed a lot. I was playing the ball with my head before, and now with my feet.”
Zlatan continued:” It was really hard for me to watch the games from outside. I got injured in the time I was in my peak form. I couldn’t do anything about that, but I am confident and focusing now on my team. I am fully fit and happy to play again.”
Zlatan Ibrahimovic also shared a picture on Instagram after the match yesterday and thanked everyone who stood by him, and the fans especially.
Knowing that Zlatn Ibrahimovic played 46 matches with Manchester United last season, and scored 28 goals and won three trophies.
