Victor Lindelof, Man United’s new defender from Benfica, has revealed his new shirt number by mistake. Lindelof has been spotted with the rest of the 27-man squad during the tour to USA carrying a bag that has the number “2” on it which hints to his new squad number. In addition, his teammates, David De Gea and Ander Herrera, were spotted carrying the same bag with their squad number as well.
The Last player who wore the number 2 was the Brazilian player Rafael Da Silva before he leaves Manchester United in 2015 to Lyon. In addition, Gary Neville and Paul Parker wore the number 2 shirt with the Red Devils at the Old Trafford.
Lindelof join Manchester United this summer from Benfica for 31M Pounds as the first signing this summer by Jose Mourinho.
