Rooney Reveals The Reason Why He Left Manchester United

Wayne Rooney, Everton’s forward and Man United legend, has revealed the reason why he left Manchester United to his old club,Everton, this summer transfer window.

According to The Sun,Wayne Rooney said in an interview:” I left Manchester United because I wasn’t in Jose Mourinho’s plans for this season. And my play time wasn’t guaranteed.”

Rooney continued:” I love to play football with passion, and Everton made me love football and I want to come back to that place. I can play more and show my passion with Everton. My form didn’t change, I just didn’t have the chance to show it and with Everton I will provr that. When I started playing with Everton when I was 16, I wanted to be the best player in the world, I was practicing everyday to improve and I still think the same.”

And on Van Gaal’s era Rooney said:” He is a great manager. He pays attention on every single detail on and off the pitch. I believe if he had more time, he would do great stuff. He just didn’t have a chance as Mourinho”

 

Knowing that Wayne Rooney, Man United and England’s all time top scorer, has been arrested last Friday for drunk driving and was penalized by Everton with two weeks salary, and will appear in court on the 18th of September.
