Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has given an update on Romelu Lukaku’s injury who is suffering from a head injury since last week.
Romelu Lukaku, 24 years old, is absent since few days due to the injury he picked up against Southampton FC where Manchester United drew 0-0.
Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Romelu Lukaku may be available to play against Derby County in the FA Cup’s first match this season.
Mourinho said:” Romelu Lukaku didn’t come with us to Everton’s match, he wanted to come with us, but to protect him we didn’t get him with us. He said he is feeling better, but we decided not to play him. He may come back to Dery County.”
Knowing that Jose Mourinho has confirmed ahead of Everton’s match that Romelu Lukaku needs at least a week to play again before he changes his mind and saying that he will be available in few days to play against Derby County.
Romelu Lukaku has scored 10 goals since his arrival to Manchester United from Everton FC last summer, and assisted four goals in the 21 games he played in the Premier League this season before goes through a goal drought lately this season due to several reasons.
