Manchester United will be playing a crucial match on papers against Arsenal FC and Arsene Wenger, who will be playing his last match against Manchester United and Jose Mourinho as Arsenal’s manager before he retires at the end of this season from managing Arsenal.
Manchester United will be eyeing to win today’s match and widen the difference with Liverpool FC who have drawn against Stoke City yesterday in the Premier League, where Manchester United will take advantage of Arsenal’s case as well where Arsene Wenger, Arsenal’s manager, has dropped several players from the traveling squad in order to rest them for the Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid next Thursday away from home, in Madrid.
Manchester Evening News photographers have spotted Manchester United’s squad while they are arriving at Lowry Hotel in Manchester, which is used as a meeting base ahead of any home match, ahead of the Premier League match against Arsenal.
However, four key players weren’t spotted arriving at Lowry Hotel in Manchester, and the players are the defenders Phil Jones, Ashley Young, and Eric Bailly, and the forward Jesse Lingard.
Knowing that the players have trained yesterday with the rest of the squad, except Phil Jones, which makes it suspicious whether Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, is resting some players or there are any injuries.
The photographers have spotted Manchester United’s squad that arrived at the hotel, and here are the spotted players:
Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Joel Pereira, and Kieran O’Hara
Defenders: Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, and Marcos Rojo
Midfielders: Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, and Marouane Fellaini
Forwards: Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial
Knowing that this squad is the spotted squad that arrived at Lowry Hotel only, and sometimes some players arrive individually at the hotel and not with the rest of the squad, which could be the case with the four missing players.
