REVEALED: Man United Full Squad Against Sevilla

Manchester United will be playing today, Wednesday, in the Champions League knock out stages, group of 16, after the break since last year in the European competition, where the Red Devils under Jose Mourinho will eye a win today against Sevilla with a strong squad that is revealed by Manchester Evening News.

Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has chosen the strongest squad available to travel with it to Sevilla in Spain in order to face the La Liga club, Sevilla, in the Champions League today where the full squad had some surprises due to injuries such as the absence of the English defender, Phil Jones.

Manchester Evening News photographers have took pictures of the traveling squad of Manchester United who was boarding the plane to travel to Spain, and the full squad photographed is as the following.

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Sergio Romero, and Joel Pereira

Matteo Darmian, Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, and Eric Bailly

Midfielders: Nemanja Matic, Michael Carrick, Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, and Jesse Lingard

Forwards: Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Romelu Lukaku

However, we expect the following Starting 11 to start today against Sevilla in Spain

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

Defenders:  Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling, and Ashley Young

Midfielders:  Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic,

Forward: Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, and Juan Mata.

Knowing that Manchester United doesn’t have a very good record in Spain where the Red Devils under several managers were able to win just two of the last 23 away European games in all competitions against a Spanish club, which means Jose Mourinho has to choose wisely and don’t allow Sevilla FC to surprise Manchester United and score at their home tonight.

Jose Mourinho said today that he will be playing the Chilean superstar, Alexis Sanchez, will be playing today, and he said Alexis Sanchez didn’t come just to play two games in the Champions League, which means that Manchester United will be eyeing a win and Jose Mourinho admitted that a win is their aim, which may put some pressure on Manchester United who is going through a shaky form recently.

On the other hand, Paul Pogba traveled with the team, but his start isn’t guaranteed after being dropped recently.
