Paul Pogba, Manchester United’s midfielder, has revealed the reason behind his unique and strange celebration after his goal against Newcastle United.
Paul Pogba celebrated his goal by crossing his wrists together as a sign of the slavery crises going on now in Libya. Paul Pogba shared a picture on Instagram of him celebrating the goal and captioned it with:”While very happy to be back, my prayers go to those suffering slavery in Libya.” Pogba continued:“May Allah be by your side and may this cruelty come to an end!”
Knowing that Libya is suffering from slavary issues recently, which launched a huge wave of anger and empathy with the dramatic situation there.
Manchester United has won 4-1 against Newcastle United on Saturday in the Premier League match day 12, and Paul Pogba scored the last and winning goal for the team. On the other hand, Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned as well in that match after a long-term injury.
Paul Pogba commented on his return as well and said:” It’s hard to watch the matches from outside, you want to help the team but you can’t do anything.”
