Manchester United have officially announced their starting Xl that will be playing against Newcastle United in the Premier league Matchday 27.
The starting squad didn’t include any surprises, where Alexis Sanchez, Pogba, Martial, and Lukaku are starting as the main attacking power for the squad in a very similar squad compared to the one that Jose Mourinho usually starts.
However, the bench included one main surprise for today’s match where the English international forward, Marcus Rashford, was dropped from the starting Xl and even from the bench.
There is no official confirmation from Manchester United or Jose Mourinho regarding the reason Marcus Rashford is dropped, but some news and sources suggest that the English international striker could be suffering from a surprising muscle injury that left him out of the squad that will participate today in the Premier League against Newcastle United.
On the other hand, other news and sources suggest that Marcus Rashford has failed to convince Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, to include him in the squad against Newcastle United due to his poor performance according to Jose Mourinho, and even Marcus Rashford failed to start recently in Jose Mourinho’s squad in several matches where several people are concerned about the youngster future which could end outside of the Old Trafford if Jose Mourinho doesn’t give him more playing time.
Anthony Martial was suffering from a very similar issue at the beginning of this season where he was mostly on the bench in most of the matches at the beginning of the season and was getting subbed on from the bench in the last minutes and he, Anthony Martial, was always proving himself to Jose Mourinho and making the difference through helping in the attack, assisting, or even scoring in the last minutes of the match.
This could be the case now with Marcus Rashford who lost his starting Xl recently, especially after the arrival of the Chilean international forward, Alexis Sanchez, three weeks ago from the Premier League side, Arsenal FC, in a swap deal where the Armenian international, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, left for Arsenal FC in a deal that didn’t include any cash for any of the clubs.
