PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 5-1 Cardiff City

A wonderful match and masterpiece from Manchester United and a great reaction from the players to prove themselves today.

Manchester United have played one of their best and most entertaining matches in the past few years with a fast and attacking football, knowing that Manchester United is missing two key players, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United scored four goals, three in the first half, and two in the second, where all the front three players, Martial, Lingard, and Rashford scored, and Ander Herrera scored as well.

Here are our player ratings and the man of the match for today’s match

De Gea: Nothing much to do today, he was barely tested and can’t be blamed by conceding a penalty 6.5/10

Lindelof: A very good match, and was even creating and going forward such as his pass on the 63rd minute. 7/10

Jones: A good match as well, we saw him even contributing in the attack. 7/10

Young: Couldn’t impress today. 6/10

Shaw: Was also contributing in the attack, and shooting from outside the penalty area. 7/10

Matic: Was good today, unlike the recent matches. 7/10

Pogba: Had a better performance and created an assist and was behind Martial’s goal. But seemed nervous and eager to score at some point to prove himself. But a good performance. 7.5/10

Herrera: One of the best in the midfield, scored a goal and was everywhere. 7.5/10

Martial:  Scored a goal and was on fire on his side. 7.5/10

Lingard: One of his best matches, he was everywhere on the pitch and scored twice and provided an assist. 9/10

Rashford: Scored the opening goal and was close to scoring other goals, but awarded Cardiff City a penalty. 7/10

Fred: Came to stabilize the midfield and secure the score. 5/10

Fellaini: No time to do anything, came to secure the score as well. 5/10

Pereira: No time to do anything as well. 5/10

Man of the match: Several players shined today such as Lingard and Martia. But for me, Jesse Lingard was the best with his pace and movement and passes where he scored a brace and assisted a goal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (Manager): An amazing debut for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer where the team played almost like the times under Sir Alex. He passed the first test and made the players react, but the hard work comes after two or three matches where the reaction isn’t the answer. 8/10
