PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 3-0 Stoke City Players Ratings And Man Of The Match

A great win for the Red Devils after the bad performances previously. Manchester United seems benefited a lot from the extended break and their trip to Dubai where the players seem more energetic.

Here are our player ratings and man of the match for today’s match

De Gea:  Saved Manchester United from several dangerous shots. Brilliant as usual. 8/10

Smalling:  Had a sloppy move on the 25th minute, but was okay. 6/10

Jones: A solid performance, a better second half though. 7/10

Valencia: Amazing performance, always dangerous as if he’s a striker, and one amazing goal. 7/10

Shaw: A calm match, not as dangerous as Valencia though. 7/10

Matic: As I always like to call him, the forgotten soldier. We don’t see him a lot but his effect is on the pitch. 7/10

Pogba: Two assists and always dangerous and his moves are magical. Did everything except scoring. 8/10

Lingard: Not the best match, but was trying and helping. 6/10

Mata:  A class footballer that we enjoy watching. His passes and moves were class. 7/10

Martial: Do we really have to bench Martial for Sanchez? that’s hard. Amazing goal and assist. Some of his touches remind us of Toni Kroos and Paul Scholes. 8/10

Lukau: Was behind the second goal, and scored the third. Wasn’t in the penalty area, but was helping in the build-up and passing. A better performance though. 7/10

Subs:

Rashford: Had one attempt, nothing much to do in few minutes. 5/10

Fellaini:  Came to secure the score and stabilize the midfield. 5/10

McTominay: Average as well, no time to impress. 5/10

Man of the match: In my opinion, Paul Pogba was the man of the match. He did everything and was behind the first two goals directly.

Jose Mourinho (Manager): A good come back, a bit sloppy in the first 20 minutes of the first half, but later the performance improved. 7/10
