PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 2-2 Burnley

A crazy match for Manchester United as they had a bad 88 minutes where they conceded twice, and at the end, they made a comeback and equalized in the last seconds of the match.

Manchester United played with a different formation today, where Andreas Pereira was the weakest player int he squad. However, the substitutions, Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez, both of them gave an assist or were behind the two goals through a penalty and rebounded header on target.

The first draw for Manchester United under Ole Gunner Solskjaer, but an important come back at the end. We hope this is a lesson to keep on starting with the strongest formation.

Here are our player ratings and the man of the match for today’s match

De Gea: Can’t be really blamed for the goals today. Made some saves. 6.5/10

Lindelof: An average match, but in the second half goal he was able to do better, However, gave his team a great point. 7/10

Jones: As well, was at fault for the second goal. Was very far from De Gea. 6/10

Young: An average match, especially in going forward compared to Luke Shaw. In the second goal, as well, bad positioning. 6/10

Shaw: Was really good in going forward, had several long balls and crosses. 6.5/10

Matic: Was solid today in the midfield, and his role is vital in the team. 7/10

Pogba: Missed some chances today, but was dangerous. Seemed a bit nervous though. 7/10

Pereira: A very poor match. Not convincing to stay at Manchester United so far. Also, he was behind the goal Man United conceded. 5/10

Mata:  Was slow today, and offered almost nothing. Not his best match and showed nothing of his magic. 6/10

Lukaku: Was better on the wing against Arsenal. Not a very good match, regardless of his good movements without the ball today. 6/10

Rashford: So poor today. Playing on the left isn’t helping him. However, his performance improved a bit after he became the number 9 player. 6/10

Lingard: Couldn’t really change the game a lot. His pace couldn’t help against a strong defense but gave Man United a crucial penalty. 6/10

Sanchez:  Played mainly as another striker alongside Rashford. His rebounded header gave Man United the equalizer and an important win by Victor Lindelof. 6/10

Man of the match: None of Manchester United players.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (Manager): A shocking and disappointing match for Manchester United. The formation didn’t help at all. The first draw for the Norwegian man. Had to make his substitutions earlier. 6/10
