PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 2-1 Tottenham And Man Of The Match.

An average first half for Manchester United, but a much better second half where most of the players improved and the tactics and positioning.

It’s not only Manchester United who improved, but Tottenham Hotspurs’s performance declined as well and they seemed to be giving up, which gave Manchester United an advantage even though their performance wasn’t the best this season, but a good qualification for the final against Chelsea or Southampton. GGMU!

Here are our player ratings and the man of the match for today’s match

De Gea: A good match, can’t be blamed for the first goal. 7/10

Smalling: Was good today, a bit shaky but okay. 5/10

Jones: An average match as well, as Chris Smalling. 6/10

Valencia: Not his best match, was on the edge of getting a yellow card. Left the pitch with an injury. 5/10

Young:  Was very poor today, maybe the worst Manchester United defender and player today. 5/10

Matic: Wasn’t his best match, was so calm we didn’t notice him sometimes. But an okay match. 6/10

Pogba: Not so good first half, but a very good second half. His bad positioning on the 17th minute in the first half was going to let Tottenham Hotspurs score the second goal, but he was able to improve in the second half and he assisted the first goal. 7/10

Herrera: Was doing a great job in the midfield in terms of defense, and offense as well. He was a tireless box to box midfielder and scored a goal. 8/10

Sanchez: 8 goals in 8 matches at Wembley. A brilliant performance scored a goal and was behind the second goal. 8/10

Lingard: Not so good, but was dangerous at some moments. 6/10

Lukaku: Not a very good match, but he made one assist for Herrera. 6/10

Rashford: Missed the chance to score the third goal on the 92nd minute in almost a one on one situation. 4/10

Darmian: Average. 5/10

Fellaini: Came to waste some seconds. N/A

Man of the match: Alexis Sanchez, scored one goal and made a pre-assist for the second goal and was always dangerous and trying compared to the rest of the players on the pitch.

Jose Mourinho (Manager): Not the best performance, but the best result and qualification for the final. 7/10
