PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 2-1 Everton And Man Of The Match.

A good win, but unconvincing for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho who have just gained three valuable points in the Premier League long journey.

The team wasn’t convincing throughout the match, especially in the first half. However, the team was able to win at the end thanks to Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba who scored from the penalty he missed against Pickford.

Here are our player ratings and the man of the match for today’s match

De Gea: Was on point, as usual. Couldn’t do much for the penalty. 7/10

Smalling: Gave away a silly penalty. 5/10

Lindelof: Was okay, did his job in the back. Better than his partner, Smalling. 7/10

Young: Average match, but below average crosses. 6/10

Shaw: Wasn’t as good as the previous matches today. 6/10

Matic: A poor match, that’s not the Matic of the previous matches and last season. Was losing a lot of balls and giving them away. 5/10

Fred: Was good, balanced between the defense and the attack. 6/10

Pogba:  Was good, wasn’t so much at fault giving away the penalty. He was also lucky to score the first goal from a missing penalty. 7/10

Martial: Scored a wonderful goal. Was always trying. Missed a one on one chance in the last seconds. 7/10

Rashford: Was so poor up front, couldn’t really replace Lukaku or threat his position. 5/10

Mata: Wasn’t dangerous today, was moving well, but with no real threat. 6/10

Lukaku: Couldn’t make the difference against his former club. 5/10

Herrera: Came to secure the score in the last minutes. 5/10

Lingard: Came to replace the injured Fred, played a couple of minutes. N/A

Man of the match: None of Manchester United players really deserves it, but Martial and Pogba were the best on Man United’s side.

Jose Mourinho (Manager): Unconvincing and lucky win for Manchester United. Defensive issues and the team isn’t able to build up a proper attack. 5/10
