PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 2-0 Newcastle

Another great win for Manchester United after they have finally gained three tough and deserved points against Newcastle United away from home and in front of Newcastle United fans, at the Saint James Park. This win has made Manchester United in the sixth place with just three points behind Arsenal, and six points behind Chelsea who have drawn against Southampton.

The game changers were the subs, where Romelu Lukaku has scored seconds after getting on the pitch, and Alexis Sanchez provided an assist for the winning goal to Marcus Rashford.

De Gea: Was on point and made some crucial saves. 7/10

Lindelof: Was a bit nervous today, maybe he was more exposed alongside Phil Jones. 6/10

Jones: Made some mistakes, and was on the verge of gifting a penalty. A shaky match. 5.5/10

Valencia: A very poor game, offered nothing in terms of attack. 7/10

Shaw: A shaky match today. 6.5/10

Matic: A bit sloppy today. 6.5/10

Pogba: Not as good as the other matches, but he was good., However, was selfish by not passing to Lukaku in the open net chance in the last seconds of the match. 7/10

Herrera: The best in the midfield, contributed in the attack and defense. 7/10

Martial:  Couldn’t do much today. 6.5/10

Mata: Tried, but wasn’t very clinical near the net. 6.5/10

Rashford: Scored a second goal that secured the score. 7.5/10



Sanchez: Couldn’t score, but made a wonderful and crucial assist.  6/10

Lukaku: Made a direct impact and scored a goal seconds after getting on the pitch. 6.5/10

Lingard:  No time to rate him. N/A

Man of the match: Rashford deserves it. Was behind the first goal through a strong shot, and scored the second. The subs deserve some credit as well.
