Manchester United will be facing Chelsea FC, the current Premier League champions, in one of the biggest matches this season in the Premier League, and one of the biggest matches for Manchester United this season as well where both clubs will be fighting for the second place this season, and this match would be decisive for both of them where the winner would get much closer to secure the second spot in the Premier League.
Both teams will be playing with their strongest squad to secure a win. However, Alexis Sanchez, Manchester United’s new striker, seems to be suffering from a nasty injury he picked up in the Champions League against the La Liga side, Sevilla FC, in the away leg for the Manchester United Champions
This could affect Alexis Sanchez’s performance in the Premier League crucial clash against Chelsea FC today at the Old Trafford where both teams will be fighting for a win, especially with the rivalry between Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s manager, and Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s current manager and Chelsea’s former manager, where he wants to win against his former club, and against Antonio Conte in person who had war of words with earlier last month and both managers attacked each other in the media.
On the other hand, Alexis Sanchez isn’t going through the best times as well after his very average performance recently with Manchester United where he scored just once from a rebounded penalty he missed and provided a couple of assists in all competitions so far with Manchester United which is less than what Manchester United expect from him as a new number 7 player who should be Manchester United’s best player.
The poor form of Alexis Sanchez is also related to the poor form of the whole Manchester United where the team is over defending most of the times due to Jose Mourinho’s defensive tactics which are killing some of the talents in Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba, and other attacking players.
Here is a picture of a nasty cut injury Alexis Sanchez suffered against Sevilla last Wedensday in the Champions League away leg.
