Manchester United seem they are close on signing a new player during the summer transfer windows where the player is a striker who has scored over 195 goals during his professional football career.
Manchester United have signed just two players during the summer transfer windows where one of them is the Brazilian midfielder, Fred Rodrigues, from the Ukrainian league giant, Shakhtar Donetsk, for a fee estimated to be around 53million British Pounds.
According to the latest news and reports today, Thursday the 19th of July, Manchester United are targeting the Dutch international striker, Bas Dost, who played for the Portuguese giant, Sporting Lisbon, where the striker has terminated his contract with the Portuguese club.
The rumor started after the Dutch striker has shared a story on his official Instagram account in the airplane while he is traveling to Manchester United, and he followed Manchester United’s official Instagram account in addition to other Manchester United players such as Jesse Lingard.
The striker has scored 61 goals with Sporting Lisbon in 61 league games in the past two seasons, and 70 goals in 90matches in all competitions in Portugal after his departure from the German Bundesliga club, Wolfsburg, after scoring 48 goals in four seasons.
The 29 years old striker was rumored to be a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, where Manchester United’s manager, Jose Mourinho, has showed his intentions to sign a striker where he was interested in signing the Austrian striker, Marko Arantuvic, from West Ham United.
