Phil Jones Gives An Injury Boost Ahead Of Newcastle Match

Phil Jones, Manchester United’s defender, has gave Manchester United fans and Jose Mourino an injury boost ahead of the Premier League match against Newcastle in the weekend.

In an interview after England’s 0-0 draw with Germany, the English defenders believes that he isn’t injured, but he is  just carrying a little niggle, and he is fine and should be able to play with his team, Manchester United in the weekend against Newcastle in the Premier League match day 12.

Phil Jones said in an interview:” The people believe that I’m injured. But actually I’m not injured, I’m just carrying a little niggle. But people just say, ‘Oh he’s injured, he’s got an ankle problem and stuff.”

Phil Jones continued:” It doesn’t mean you’re injured, I am managing it to play the next game, with England against Brazil and with the club, Manchester United, against Newcastle”

Phil Jones suggests that the media is just over acting on his injuries, and that there are a lot of players who have more injuries than him, and no one talks about them.

Phil Jones said:” I can give you a list of 40 other Premier League players who have had far much more injuries than me and nobody talks about them. Maybe that is because I play for Manchester United and that’s the way it is a big deal. But I’ve never seen myself as that.”
