OFFICIAL: Man United’s Player Nominated For The PFA, Best Player For The Season, Award

Manchester United fans have received a good news today, Saturday, after the English football association, the FA, have officially nominated one of Manchester United’s players to win the PFA award, the best player of the season award, for this season 2017-2018.

Manchester United didn’t have the perfect season, but this season marks as one of the best seasons after the departure of Sir Alex in terms of results and accumulated points in the Premier League where Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, is trying to get the team back to the right track.

Manchester United is having one of the best defensive records in the Premier League and Europe as well, thanks to Jose Mourinho’s bus plan, and to the brilliant goalkeeper, David De Gea, who is considered at the moment as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and in the world as well where he grabbed the attention of the La Liga giant, Real Madrid, who are keen to sign him for any amount.

The Spanish goalkeeper, David De Gea, has been officially named as the PFA nominee among others players who will be competing to win this award.

David De Gea is the only goalkeeper to get nominated for this award this season, where the other players are mainly attacking players such as the Belgian player, Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City, the German player Leroy Sane from Manchester City as well, the Spanish player David Silva from Manchester City, the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah from Liverpool, and finally Hary Kane from Tottenham Hotspurs.

Knowing that the last player from Manchester United to win the PFA player of the season award was Manchester United and England’s legend, Wayne Rooney, eight years ago back in 2010 under the Sir Alex era.
