According to the latest news from the Portuguese media, Manchester United has officially signed a new Portuguese winger from the Portuguese champions, S.L Benfica.
Manchester United has officially reached an agreement with the Portuguese player, Umaro Embola, who was followed by several other clubs such as the La Liga champions, Real Madrid, but has officially joined Manchester United for an unknown fee so far.
Umaro Embola, 16 years old, is one of Benfica’s brightest players, and Portugals young squad as well where he scored 15 goals in 18 matches with his national team as a right winger.
Umaro Embola’s natural position is a right winger, but he can also play as a central striker which gives the manager a flexibility in playing him in several positions. Embola is expected to play with Manchester United’s reserve squad, but he may see his path through the first team soon.
