The Turkish club, Besiktas, has officially confirmed their interest in signing Manchester United and Belgium’s midfielder, Marouane Fellaini in the upcoming winter transfer windows in January.
Marouane Fellaini has just returned from a month long injury he picked up with his national team, Belgium, against Bosnia during the international break last October, and played 28 minutes against Chelsea in Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat.
Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has praised Marouane Fellaini after Chelsea’s match and said he was one of the best players on the pitch on Sunday in the Stamford Bridge.
However a member of Besikta’s club board,Metin Albayrak, has officially confirmed that Marounane Fellaini is one of their targets. Albayrak said:” Fellaini is on our list, we we are trying to sign him alongside with other players.”
Albayrak continued:” The club is scouting several players, the transfer plans never end, we are always working and looking for new players to help our club in Turkey and in Europe. There are negotiations, but we want to make signings this winter and all the time.”
Knowing that Fellaini, 29 years old, was heavily criticized by the fans and media under Van Gaal and Moyes due to his bad performances, but under Mourinho he became one of the key players in Mourinho’s formation.
