The latest news today confirm that Jose Mourinho has given the green light for the board to give new contracts for four players.
According to the latest reports from the British outlets, Metro and The Sun, Jose Mourinho told Manchester United to activate the clause of 12 months contract extension for four Manchester United players whose contracts expire in 6 months, this summer.
The four players are the Spanish forward and midfielder, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, and the Dutch defender, Daley Blind, and the English defender, Ashley Young.
This comes after Jose Mourinho hinted that he doesn’t want to sign new players in the January transfer windows, and will wait until summer to sign new players.
This could mean that Jose Mourinho is considering these four players in his plans at Manchester United, or at least until the end of the season to be able to sell them in the summer and not lose them for free this summer.
Knowing that Ashley Young is considered as one of the best players in the current Xl now where the English international is helping Manchester United by defending and even scoring goals this season.
Juan Mata and Ander Herrera are the same where Mata has scored twice against Leicester City and is starting regularly recently. On the other hand, Daley Blind has failed to impress since the beginning of this season.
