Mourinho Targets A Chelsea Player To Replace Martial

Jose Mourinho, Manchester United and Chelsea’s former manager, is reported targeting to sign a Chelsea player in January in order to replace Anthony Martial in Manchester United.

According to the British outlet, Daily Express, Jose Mourinho is interested in signing the Brazilian winger, Willian, in order to replace Anthony Martial with a more consistent player.

Jose Mourinho will try to take advantage of his relationship with some of Chelsea players, especially who lost their place in the starting squad under Antonio Conte, to sign them for Manchester United, like what happened with Nemanja Matic who came from Chelsea in summer and became one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Willian has lost his starting place under Antonio Conte, who is depending on Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata, and Pedro and may sign Lucas Moura from PSG, and selling Willian is a needed to make a space for Moura and fund the transfer deal.

Willian has played 12 games in the Premier League this season, six of them he was a sub, and six other games in other competitions, three of them as a sub as well, and was able to score twice in all competitions this season with Chelsea.
