Manchester United are reportedly linked with one of the best defenders in the world right now in order to sign him in the summer transfer windows where several news and reports from different sources confirm that Manchester United are getting so close in a deal with a top-rated defender.
According to Manchester Evening News which reports according to the German journal, WAZ, Manchester United’s manager, Jose Mourinho, has held talks with the representatives of the Greek defender from the Bundesliga, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who is playing for the German club, Borussia Dortmund.
Jose Mourinho is reported to be keen to sign a new central defender in order to replace Chris Smalling or Phil Jones who had a very shaky season and cost the team several points, and the FA Cup as well in the final against Chelse FC.
