Mourinho Confirms Indirectly: Alexis Sanchez To Man United

Manchester United have won 3-0 against Stoke City in the Premier League after a good performance from the Red Devils in the second half, and an average performance in the first half.

It was a good night for Manchester United fans, but what were every fan and reporter waiting to know and asking Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, about wasn’t the match and performance, but the expected deal for the Chilean superstar, Alexis Sanchez.

Jose Mourinho was asked about Alexis Sanchez deal by Sky Sports reporter in an interview, and he said:” I have no idea. Today I was completely separate from all of that, I was just focusing on the match today and not worried about other stuff. I won’t speak about hypothetical situations. Probably there are other clubs who are also interested and trying, I shouldn’t talk about a player who is an Arsenal player.”

Jose Mourinho continued after he was asked again by a BBC reporter:” No news on him, Alexis Sanchez, he is an Arsenal player. If he stays there then it’s great for Arsenal, if he comes to Manchester United then it’s great for us, if he goes to another club then it’s great for them.”

Jose Mourinho was asked By Sky Sports later on about Henrikh Mkhitaryan swap deal for Alexis Sanchez and he said:”  It’s possible. It’s also possible he stays.”

These vague questions could hint a way or another that Alexis Sanchez will be the next number 7 shirt at Manchester United after the recent news, and after confirming that Henrikh Mkhitaryan was left out due to the transfer reasons and not tactical reasons.

However, nothing is officially confirmed yet amid the reports of Manchester United facing new competition from Chelsea to sign Alexis Sanchez. We still wait for the official confirmation from the club.
