Mourinho Agrees To Renew The Contract Of 5 Man United Players

Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has decided to renew the contracts of five Manchester United players whose contracts are expiring by June in 2018.

According to the British outlet, Telegraph, Jose Mourinho has asked Manchester United’s board to activate the one extra year option in the contracts of Ashley Young, Daley Blind, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, and Luke Shaw.

According to the report, Jose Mourinho wants to extend the players stay at the Old Trafford until 2019 in the coming few days, so they won’t be able to negotiate with any other club by next January and leave for free in the next summer.

The reports suggests that the Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho, didn’t decide whether the players will continue with Manchester United or not, but just trying to keep them at the club until the end of the season in order not to be sold in January, and focus on playing for Manchester United.

Knowing that some clubs such as Atletico Madrid has shown interest in Ander Herrera and Juan Mata, and Southampton is interested to re sign his former player, Luke Shaw, who lost his playing chances under Jose Mourinho this season.
