Manchester United has received a huge injury blow when their midfielder, Nemanja Matic, left the pitch against Watford with an injury ahead of decisive matches for Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has confirmed that Nemanja Matic asked to be subbed off due an injury that seems to be muscular.
In a post match conference, Jose Mourinho said:” Nemanja Matic is injured, I don’t know how bad is the injury.” Mourinho continued:” For Nemania Matic to ask me to replace him, it means he is injured. Matic doesn’t ask to be replaced if it’s nothing important. I think it is a muscular injury.”
Jose Mourinho will face a big trouble if Matic won’t be fit for the next two Premier League matches, which are against Arsenal in the Emirates Stadium, away from home, next Sunday, and the Manchester Derby which is a decisive match in order to keep the Premier League title hopes alive against Manchester City.
Nemania Matic is expected to undergo further examines to decide whether he will be fit to face Arsenal, and most importantly, Manchester City, next week.
Get well soon Nemania Matic!
