Manchester United fans and Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, got a huge injury boost from the Argentinian defender, Marcos Rojo.
Marcos Rojo is set to return to matches by taking a part of the reserve team matches today, Wednesday, against the club Athletic in the Premier League International Cup at Leigh Sports Village, and it was confirmed that Marcos Rojo will feature in this match for the first time since April.
Marcos Rojo said yesterday in an interview:”Tomorrow, Wednesday, I am going to play a friendly match with the reserves. I feel good now. I will play 45 minutes tomorrow, and I hope everything goes well to return next month”
Marcos Rojo will start gaining some fitness by the reserve matches, until he goes back to the first time. If everything goes as planned, Marcos Rojo is expected to return to Manchester United first team next month and to play in the Champions League match against CSKA Moscow.
Marcos Rojo was injured since last April in the Europa League, and missed more than 7 months of playing and he needs some playing time to regain his fitness and form, before returning to the main squad.
