Manchester United Reveals Champions League Squad With Two New Young Stars For The First Time

Manchester United has revealed the Champions League group stages squad names, and a new young player makes his debut in the Champions League with Manchester United.

The list included Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which is expected to return from injury in the second half of the season or before, and United’s young striker, James Wilson, and United’s promising midfielder,Scott McTominay.


The squad is as following:

Goalkeepers: David De Gea, Sergio Romero

Defenders: Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Crhis Smalling,Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rojo, Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Luke Shaw

Midfielders: Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick, Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard

Forwards: Henrikh Mkhitaryan,Juan Mata, Anthony Martial,Romelu Lukaku, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, James Wilson


According to the UEFA rules, under 21 players don’t require registration so the under 21 players list is as following:

Under 21 list: Joel Pereira (goalkeeper), Tuanzebe(defender), McTominay (midfielder), Rashford ( forward)


Man United were drawn in group A and set to play against Benfica,Basel, and CSKA Moscow.
