Manchester United has drawn with the La Liga side, Sevilla, in the Champions League knock out stage in the draw that took place in the UEFA headquarters in Switzerland.
The match date has been officially revealed and confirmed. The first leg will take place on the 13th of February and the return leg will take place on the 6th of March
Manchester United has faced Sevilla just twice before, once in 2006, and the second time in 2013 where each side has a 50% winning rate by winning one match against the other.
Manchester United has beaten Sevilla 3-0 on the 12th of August 2006, while Sevilla has beaten 3-1 Manchester United on 9th in August 2013.
Knowing that this will be the first competitive meeting between the two teams where the two meetings before were testimonial and friendly match.
Manchester United has a great chance to reach the semi-finals of the competition and even aim to reach final if they manage to beat the team in the semi-final.
