Man United Vs Huddersfield Players Ratings And Man Of The Match. First Fall In The Season

It was one of the bad nights for Man United fans were Man United lost for the first time this season against Huddersfield. Even though Man United had the possession of the ball, but couldn’t convert it into goals. It’s a night to forget for Man United fans who are a bit far from Man City, who is on the top of the league.

Our players ratings are as the following:

De Gea: Tried his best, can’t be blamed for the loss though. 6/10

Jones:  Nothing much to do. Went off injured for the third time.  N/A

Smalling: a shaky match. tried to block some chances for Huddersfield though. Tried to help scoring as well. 5/10

Valencia:  still one of the best players today on the pitch even though not his best form. 6/10

Young:    Tried to be effective offensively and had a shot on target, but wasn’t dangerous. 5/10

Matic: He is tried. He needs a rest to be back to his top form.  5/10

Herrera:  Not his best match for sure. Struggled this match. 4/10

Martial:  tried his best but couldn’t score at all. Was going to get his team into a bad situation if he got booked again, which he escaped. 5/10

Mata: Was behind the first goal by losing the ball in a dangerous area. 6/10

Lingard: isn’t the player who is a game changer. He struggled. 4/10

Lukaku:  Amazing cross, but couldn’t score during the whole match.  4/10

Subs:

Rashford:  Scored one goal after minutes of coming off the bench, but wasn’t enough to save Man United from their first loss. 7/10

Mkhitaryan: He seemed he wants to change the game, but couldn’t. 5/10

Lindelof:  Maybe we understand now a bit why Mourinho isn’t depending on him a lot. That’s not the player Mourinho was expecting for sure. 4/10

Man of the match: Non of Man United players deserves it.  Rashford was the best among his teammates, but surely not the best on the pitck.

Jose Mourinho (Manager): Not sure if we can blame him or not. His team is exhausted and no other replacements with almost 6 players injured. 5/10
