What a win and what a match especially in the first half. Another 4-1 deserved win over a tough opponent in a tough weather and stadium. It was going to be a clean sheet, but in the last minutes CSKA Moscow scored.
Our players ratings are as the following:
De Gea: What a save! Maybe he’s the only goalkeeper we enjoy watching. Can’t be really blamed for the goal. 8/10
Lindelof: Getting used more and more to the playing style. 7/10
Smalling: Solid defense. Nothing much to do. 7/10
Bailly: Nothing much to do. But bad marking in for CSKA’s goal. 6/10
Blind: Was going to score from a header. 8/10
Matic: The one who works without enough credit. 7/10
Herrera: A great match like usual. 7/10
Young: Good contribution in the attack and offense. He was needed in Mourinho’s squad. 7/10
Martial: Words can’t describe him… 9/10
Mkhitaryan: One goal and few magical touches. 8/10
Lukaku: Two goals and was close for his first hatrick with Man United. 8/10
Subs:
Darmian: Was close to make it 5-0. 6/10
Lingard: Was so close to score in his very first touches. 6/10
Rashford: N/A
Man of the match: It’s hard to choose either Martial or Lukaku. Lukaku scored twice, and Martial scored once by a penalty and two assists. I will go for Martial. He’s always on time when he plays and proves he deserves to be in the starting 11.
Jose Mourinho (Manager): He wanted the 3 points, and ended the match in the first half, then made some players rest and slow down the match. 8/10
