Manchester United will play tomorrow against Everton, and several players will face their former clubs such as Fellaini,Lukaku and Rooney.
Manchester United is in a good form after winning against Basel, but losing Pogba will be a huge loss and Mourinho will have to find a good plan to link between the midfield and attack in Pogba’s absence.
When and where is the match?
When: The match will be on Tuesday, September 17 at 4:00PM BST.
Where: Old Trafford
Who will play?
Mourinho should start with the same usual squad, except a new midfielder to replace Pogba.
We predict the starting Xl to be as follows:
Goalkeeper: De Gea
Defenders: Valencia (captain), Bailly, Jones, and Blind
Midfielders: Matic, Fellaini
Forward: Rashford ,Lukaku,Mkhitaryan,Mata
Pogba is set to miss six weeks, which means Fellaini and Herrera has to fill the gap. We expect Mourinho to start Fellaini over Herrera, due to issues we explained in the previous article, and because he played with Everton before. Facing a former club is something everyone looks for.
Everton isn’t having a good time, where they lost or drew in their last five matches in all the competitions, and playing in Europa League against Atlanta made the team have shorter time to recover. We expect a 3-1 win over Everton. We also expect Rooney to score against Man United.
Rooney is Man United’s legend who came 13 years ago from Everton, and now he is back to Everton.
