Manchester United have released an official statement today, Thursday, regarding the club injuries ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal.
Manchester United is suffering from several injuries, especially on the defensive side where two defensive midfielders are injured, and two center backs.
According to the report, Nemanja Matic is a major doubt for the Red Devil for Arsenals match, as well as Marouane Fellaini who missed Watford’s match due to an injury as well.
On the other hand, Michael Carrick is on his way to recover and play again with Manchester United, but it won’t be for the match against Arsenal.
The other two crucial injuries Manchester United is suffering from, are the central defenders, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones who are injured since around a month.
Eric Bailly was injured during the international break and didn’t play with Manchester United this month at all, while Phil Jones got injured with his national team, England, in a friendly match against Germany in preparation for the world cup in Russia next year, 2018.
Both defenders are on their way to be back to the squad, but it’s not confirmed whether they will be able to make it in the match against Arsenal or not.
