Man United 2-2 Burnley Players Ratings And Man Of The Match. Disappointing Match

Manchester United keeps on falling and underperforming in the recent games after getting knocked out of the EFL Cup, Carabao Cup, against Bristol City and a very disappointing draw against Leicester City, today Manchester United loses at home to Burnley in a match that was full of mistakes from the players, and manager where Manchester United was able to go out with one point in the injury time.

Here are our player ratings and man of the match for today’s match

De Gea:  Nothing much to do, just a couple of easy saves. Can’t be blamed for the goal at all. 6/10

Jones:  Average match, wasn’t able to do much in the two goals. 5/10

Young: One of the very few players really trying today, the only one who can cross as well and got an assist. 7/10

Rojo: Got booked within seconds of the beginning of the match, subbed off in the half time. 4/10

Shaw: Not his best match, wasn’t so good in crossing. 5/10

Pogba:  Tried to score and had some long shots, but not his best form. A lot of misplaced passes. 6/10

Matic: A very calm first half, average second half. Not his day. Played as a center back in the second half. 5/10

Rashford:  Just a couple of attempts and runs, not a good match. 6/10

Ibrahimovic: Better than Lukaku, but still not in his top form, he can’t play with Lukaku together as a playmaker, both aren’t the type of active strikers. Subbed off during the half time. 5/10

Mata:  Very few touches, but the most important and useful. You feel he is calm, but he scored twice today. Was always trying and creating. 8/10

Lukaku:  18 touches in the first half only, and none were in the 18 yards area, on fault for the first goal which he assisted, and the second goal he didn’t even jump to try to block the ball. Similar to Man City match’s performance 2/10

Lingard:  One goal and tried to go forward, was more dynamic than Zlatan in the number 10 position. 6/10

Mkhitaryan: Was trying and fighting, he had to start instead of Ibrahimovic as a number 10 player. 6/10

Man of the match: None of the players really impressed today, except Lingard who was able to gift Manchester United one point, but not enough against Burnley at home in the title race.

Jose Mourinho (Manager): A lot of mistakes, why playing Zlatan as a number 10 with Lukaku? both are a box player who doesn’t move a lot, it was obvious that they weren’t able to play together in these rules. Not sure what happened to the special one recently… 4/10
