Romelu Lukaku, Manchester United’s striker, is having a very average season where the striker was able to start the season as one of the best, but now he is suffering to score goals.
The Belgian striker started the season and he was on the top of the Premier League strikers after scoring almost in every game and even against Real Madrid in the UEFA Supercup where Manchester United lost it 2-1 to Real Madrid. However, his form declined later on especially with the injury of Paul Pogba, and the declined form of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
According to the BBC Match Of The Day official account on Twitter, Romelu Lukaku was able to be the best striker in the Premier League in terms of providing assists since the season of 2013-2014 where no striker in the Premier League was able to provide more assists than Romelu Lukaku.
Jose Mourinho praised the Belgian striker regardless of his goal drought and said that Romelu Lukaku fits his plan and not only scoring goals is what he wants from the striker, but other stuff as well on the pitch which providing assists were one of them.
