Kasper Schmeichel Is Set To Join Man United If De Gea Leaves

The Danish international, Kasper Schmeichel, who plays now for Leicester City is set to join Manchester United if Daivd De Gea leaves to Real Madrid this summer.

According to the Mirrors, Schmeichel is waiting to join Man United which he says it’s “A Dream”  to play for Man United. Knowing that his father, Peter Schmeichel, was one of the best goalkeepers in Manchester United under Sir Alex era and won several trophies including the Champions League.

Moreover, Peter Schmeichel, Kasper’s father, said several times that he wishes to see his son playing like him in Man United.

Real Madrid was interested to join Gianluigi Donnarumma from AC Milan but the young keeper extended his contract recently which confirms that he doesn’t want to leave now. Therefore, De Gea is the perfect keeper for Real Madrid. Moreover, Real Madrid tried to sign De Gea 2 seasons ago but the transfer failed in the last minute due to delay in sending the papers.

Leicester City is willing to let Schmeichel leave but for a fee not less than 30M GBP and Schmeichel  will get a weekly salary of 100,000 GBP a week if he moves to the Old Trafford.

Do you think Schmeichel  is the best replacement for De Gea if he leaves? or Romero should be the first keeper?
