INJURY BLOW: Valencia Injury Update, Valencia May Not Play Until Next Year

Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has handed an injury blow after West Bromwich Albion’s match about Antonio Valencia who left the pitched injured today.

Manchester United has won 2-1 against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League Matchday 18. It was a good day for the Red Devils because of the three points and Romelu Lukaku scoring for the second match, but the day wasn’t perfect due to Antonio Valencia leaving the pitch due to an injury.

In a post-match press conference, Jose Mourinho said:”  It is an injury because of fatigue, I call it December injury. It is a muscular injury, hamstring. I don’t know how bad it is, let’s wait.”

Such types of injuries take 1 week to six months, depending on the degree and how bad it is. However, Jose Mourinho said it is from fatigue, which is supposed to be a small one, hopefully.

Antonio Valencia may not be able to play again this year in the boxing days and busy fixture and may return again to action with the Red Devils in 2018.

Knowing that Manchester United is suffering from several injuries such as Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, Eric Bailly, and now Antonio Valencia.
