Croatia’s Manager Reveals The Reason Why Manchester United Didn’t Sign Perisic

After the summer transfer windows is over, many players who were linked with some clubs either moved or their transfer failed due to many reasons. In this summer, Manchester United’s target and Intermilan’s player , Ivan Perisic, was one of the hottest transfer targets that never happened.

In a report by Calciomercato, Croatia’s manager has revealed the reason why Perisic’s transfer to Manchester United has failed.

Ante Cacic claims that he talked to Ivan Perisic and he was happy at Inter Milan, but was open to Manchester United’s move. Cacic said that the real reason behind the failure is Perisic’s price Inter was asking for.

Cacic said:” Perisic was happy in Italy, but was open to move to Manchester. But the Ed woodward, Man United’s CEO, has refused to pay Inter’s price which is 55m Euros because he found “unreasonable” to pay for Perisic”

Cacic continued” Everyone at Inter Milan wants him to stay. They have a new manager now and he thinks that Perisic is an important player, but Inter was open to let him leave if Man United pays his pricetag.”

Knowing that Perisic has a contract until 2021 with Inter Milan and his salary is 3m Euros per year only, while at United he was going to get more than double than his current salary.
