Manchester United will travel today to Leicester to play against Leicester City in the Premier League matchday 19 where one key player will be missing from Manchester United’s traveling squad due to injury.
Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s, has confirmed to MUTV, Manchester United TV, in a pre-match conference ahead of Leicester City that there will be one missing player from the recent squad traveling list.
Jose Mourinho has officially confirmed that Manchester United and Ecuador’s right back, Antonio Valencia, is still unavailable for the match today due to a hamstring injury he picked up during the second half of the previous Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion where Manchester United won 2-1.
Jose Mourinho said:” As you know, Antonio Valencia is still out. Everyone else is fine.”
Knowing that the Ecuadorian right back, Antonio Valencia, was expected to start today after he confirmed on social media that he is fine after he got subbed off for Marcos Rojo, but it seems the Ecuadorian international is still not available for action in the Premier League, and his return date still not confirmed. However, it is expected not to be a long-term injury and he may feature in the upcoming boxing days matches.
Get well soon Antonio Valencia!
