In a breaking news a few minutes ago from several sources, Manchester United’s striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s journey has officially come to an end with Manchester United.
Manchester United have officially released a statement on their official website a few moments ago which confirms officially that the Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will be leaving Manchester United immediately after terminating his contract which was an expected move due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s inability to play due to an injury he picked up last season.
Manchester United have shared on their website this statement:” Manchester United officially confirms that we have agreed to terminate the contract of Zlatan Ibrahimovic immediately.”
The statement continued:” Everyone at Manchester United thanks, Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his contribution to the team since he arrived, back in the season of 2016/2017, and we wish him a good luck for his future.”
Knowing that Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived at the Old Trafford in the summer of 2016 from the French Ligue 1 giant, Paris Saint-German, on a free transfer where he was able to impress during his first season at Manchester United before he picks up an injury that ruled him out for months until the end of 2017 before he returns to play, and picks up another injury which seems to be one of the reasons Manchester United decided to terminate his contract.
On the other hand, the arrival of the Chilean superstar forward, Alexis Sanchez, who can play as a striker as well, contributed in the decision of terminating Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract due to the competition on the striker’s position where Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, and Marcus Rashford.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be playing for the MLS team, LA Galaxy, and we would like to thank him and wish him the best of luck for his future career!
