Phil Jones, Manchester United’s defender, has been subbed off in England’s friendly match against Germany after suffering from an injury.
Phil Jones was subbed off after just 24 minutes of the beginning of the match against Germany and is suspected to be suffering from a thigh injury. On the other hand, Phil Jones was wearing a heavy strapping on his left quadricep which suggests that he was suffering from the injury already, but he was allowed to play, even though it’s a friendly match.
Phil Jones got injured on the 10th minute, but forced him self to play until the 24th minute before he collaps on the pitch and gets subbed off.
This new injury will put Jose Mourinho into a big trouble ahead of some decisive matches, especially the Manchester Derby, which will decide whether Manchester United can win the league this season or not.
On the other hand, Mourinho will have some questions to ask for Southgate after allowing Jones to play with a heavy strapping, and allowing him to play extra 14 minutes after picking up an injury in a friendly match.
Phil Jones will be added to Manchester United’s injury list which inlcudes Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, and Michael Carrick
