BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea Player CONFIRMS He Contacted Man United To Move

In a breaking news from Manchester United Evening News, Chelsea’s forward has confirmed to Football Focus that he contacted Manchester United over a potential move.

 

Manchester United Evening News reported that Chelsea and Brazil’s winger, Willian, admitted in an interview with Football Focus that he contacted Manchester United to move to them before.

Willian da Silva, Chelsea’s player, said to Football Focus:” For sure I want to play every single game, but we have world class players in the team and every player wants to play. I have to respect Antonio Conte’s decision.”

Willian continued:”For sure sometimes you get upset when you don’t play or start, but that doesn’t mean you don’t love the club or the people at the club. I want to fight for my place in Chelsea.”

Willian also admitted that he contacted Manchester United before:”I had contact with Manchester United but I was not close to leaving”

This news comes with the Daily Express report today about Willian being close to joining the Red Devils in the winter transfer windows, in January, and join his former manager in Chelsea who currently manages Manchester United, Jose Mourinho.

Knowing that Willian lost his starting place under Antonio Conte, and this season he played 12 matches, six of them as a sub, and Antonio Conte was depending on him during Eden Hazard’s injury. Willian played just 13 minutes yesterday, Saturday, in Chelsea’s 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
