Manchester United announced the renewal of the Portuguese manager today, Thursday, where his contract will run now until at least 2020, two years from now after his contract was going to expire in the summer of 2019.
Jose Mourinho Mourinho’s contract now is until 2020, with an option to extend his contract one more year until the end of the season of 2021.
Jose Mourinho won several trophies with Manchester United since his arrival at the beginning of last season where the former Chelsea manager won three trophies in his first season where he won the Community Shield against the former Premier League champions, Leicester City, the EFL Cup against Southampton FC, and the Europa League against Ajax where it was the main target for Manchester United to qualify to the Champions League this season after the injuries and issues in the squad at the end of the last season.
