In a breaking news few minutes ago from several news sources, the details of Alexis Sanchez contract with Manchester United have been revealed.
Alexis Sanchez seems he is on his way to Manchester United instead of Manchester City after the Citizens, Manchester City, withdrew from the race of signing the Chilean forward due to the high financial demands, but that doesn’t seem the case they withdrew from the race according to the latest details.
According to Metro and THe Daily Telegraph, Alexis Sanchez has agreed to sign four and a half years contract with Manchester United, which means his contract will expire when he is 33 years old, and he will be at the Old Trafford until the end of the season of 2022.
Alexis Sanchez is reported to be receiving a 14million British Pounds salary per year after taxes, which is around 270,000 British Pounds per week and that seems to be less than what Manchester City were going to offer him or even Arsenal’s offer to renew his contract with some reports suggest that it was going to reach 300,000 British Pounds per week.
This could mean that the issue with Alexis Sanchez going to Manchester City or renewing with Arsenal wasn’t a money issue, but a different kind of the issue of these numbers are true.
Official confirmation from both clubs are still required, we are basing our article on The Daily Telegraph and Metro report.
